Purchasing a new home for the beneficiary or building a special needs house is often the most viable living option. ERC works with local Realtors to identify, pre qualify and evaluate properties that meet the criteria we set forth.

We conduct interviews with the beneficiary and their family to familiarize ourselves with the special needs living requirements of the beneficiary as well as the overall family dynamic.

Once a property is identified, we perform a survey to evaluate the selected property in an effort to identify the design and scope of work required to facilitate the beneficiary with their activities of daily living. Safety and the general well-being of the beneficiary are paramount. Their special needs are addressed including activities of daily living, safe thoroughfare, and specialized areas to conduct prescribed therapies and treatments.

We evaluate the appropriateness, cost, and feasibility of purchasing a particular property as well as reasonable alternative properties. ERC will provide you with a skilled opinion to assist you in making an informed decision when purchasing a property.

We contact the local Construction Code Official to ascertain the municipal ordinances regarding building codes and zoning issues
